A lot of jolly good things have happened over the past few days. First of all, T-Day was awesome. Then the real fun started on Friday.
Every year a local city does this really cool Christmas lights display, and it has become a tradition to go to these lights, a rather cool tradition really. In the middle of their happy city is a lake with a ring of trees around it. The fine citizens put up a lot of lights in the trees and on the ground around them. It's always so cool and such.
And, this year, besides the normal wave of relatives that comes with us, there was an added bonus...Jessica came with us this time.
We drove the circuit around the lights/lake, and then got our to walk right along the water. The walking part was better, Jessica and I walked around hand-and-hand and pretty much enjoyed the night air and each other's company. Then there was some swinging because that's always fun and there were some there. We then went to Arby's (which is also a tradition in relation to the lights). Then, because it's in the same parking lot, we also went Wal-Mart. At Wally World I got Medal of Honor: Pacific Assault (MoHPa from now on) and the Widescreen version of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban on DvD.
Then, we returned to our house and Jessica and I hung out in my room for a bit. Then at 1130 I took her home and we stood outside in their carport for...a time. At 0100 I finally had to leave to go home.
Then, today there was some adversity, but like vacuum cleaners, we get over that.
After I got home from work I get a call from Jessica and she asked me if I wanted to go to a movie. So, we go see National Treasure, which was just as good as it was the first time I saw it.
History! History! History! History! History! History! History!
Now that the happy stuff is over, it's time for a rant!
Allen is taking all next week off, and guess who is picking up the slack?!?! ME!!!
That's right! In stead of finally having a nice easy week (four shifts instead of five), which I should be having because I just had a few five-shift weeks (over a month of them now). Allen's not even doing anything important! His excuse is that he has a lot of English homework, not a project, not any special tests, but simple homework!
RANT! RANT! RANT! RANT! RANT! RANT! RANT! RANT! RANT!
Am I ranting? I hope so...you know my ranting gets raves!!!

RANT!
On quotes:
I had a good one earlier, I thought of it when Jessica and I were leaving her house this evening. Alas, now I've forgotten it. But, all is not lost for this brief lapse in memory has inspired this quote which I just made up.
"When one always has wise words, he can't remember all of them."
