wow, it's been a long time!

for example, since i posted last:

barack obama became president-elect.

i applied to graduate from college.

i finished classes.

ad and i broke up.

i began my application to teach for america.

it has snowed an awful lot.

cookie has come back from denmark.

dad and his friends started a rad band that plays lots of fantastic oldies.

etc.

goodness! today i had lots of mouth-numbing dental work followed by a lunch of numbness-induced self-injury. hyphens! igloo building with sarah and douglas was planned, but did not happen because of some of the parties getting stuck in the snow...tomorrow!!! i am terribly, terribly excited to build a structure that has snow-based structural integrity.

also, now i cry at the end of "it's a wonderful life." i never used to cry at movies. perhaps this means i'm not a robot any longer.
