Once you have been accepted into the community, you are free to begin to post as you'd like!
While you are at it, please leave a comment on this journal entry right here just letting us know what your personal DW journal is going to be so that we may keep track.
Important changes to note regarding the game:
➲ We are now accepting original characters.
➲ Your character will be assigned a wagon with other characters (detailed in the main post in the main community that links to your wagon assignments page).
➲ The notion of 'professions' has been removed. They were tricky to deal with, and a bit more confusing than we'd like. Your character is still permitted to have a profession, but it isn't going to be marked in the same way it had been.
➲ There is a new tagging system. Characters will have two tags to their name, both in the Logs community and the Main community like so:
p: character name
t: character name
When your character is the main poster on a post, you will use the p: character name tag to tag that entry. When your character is tagging in to someone else's post, you will tag the poster's entry with t: character name to indicate that you have tagged that entry.
➲ Power dampening has been removed. That was another thing that was kind of unnecessary in the long run, and ended up more confusing than it was helpful for game development.
In addition, I attempted to make sure that every link on every entry was changed to the corresponding Dreamwidth link instead of the LiveJournal link. If you notice that any links are broken or still lead to the LiveJournal page, please drop us a line to let us know! That would be awesome, and really helpful for us to make sure that all the information stays up-to-date.
