SUMMARY: Jenny asked Darcy if she still wanted some hypervodka. Darcy expressed interest in finding a saloon

She's a bit later, but Jack had extended the invite, and ... Well. She probably wouldn't have a lick to drink, but that didn't mean she couldn't go and scope things out. Maybe just stick to the background, watch and observe and- Well she didn't plan on making much company. Not until she can get a grasp on just what this universe is like. If it were in any danger of here .. being here.

It is kind of tempting to have a drink though. Even just one.

She should get on it, because Darcy is well on her way to disposing of all the alcohol they have. Not on her own, to be fair, since peer-pressuring anyone around her to hurry up on the shots was half the fun. Which made it little surprise when plopped a shot of whiskey before the new comer with a flourish and a grin.

"We're screwed. Drink up!"

Much as she's still all grins and politeness, she's not doing much with her proffered shot. In fact, she's even pushing it back a bit.

"None for me, thanks."

Raised eyebrow is go.

"Don't think the situation warrants a tiny shot?"

"Bad alcoholic tendencies. Don't fancy the drink anymore, t'be honest." No one ever said she was a bad liar.

Well, that Darcy can accept easily enough, and takes the shot herself.

"Sucks all the more for you, then."

[timedaughter]

"Marion!" Rose may not have planned on company, but Jenny has a sharp eye. "Glad you could make it. What's your poison?"

Damn you, Jenny. Except not really, Rose really doesn't mind a friendly face. ... Weird as it is. But no harm no foul.

"'Fraid I'm not partakin' in any booze tonight. Just water for me."

[timedaughter]

"Are you sure? Not about the booze, but the water. I'm sure they have other drinks that aren't alcoholic." Jenny doesn't judge if people don't want to drink, but water sounds a bit boring. Besides, it'll be nice to have people other than herself and her dad who aren't hung over come tomorrow morning.

"I dunno, but I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have soda yet." But hey, if that have something else- even milk wouldn't be so bad.

"Mm, they have something called Sarsaparilla. I think that might be a bit similar. And Gwen was drinking milk."

[yousaidblue]

"Actually? Real Sarsaparilla?" She glances toward the bar and his keep, vaguely curious. "Might try that, then..."

"I've never had it before. Is it good?" Of course, there are a lot of things Jenny's never had before. Let no one say she's ever afraid to try.

Judging by the fact that Jenny'd told him this was a simulated environment, Jack had decided to take his chances and poke about. He meanders over to where Rose is and gives a wave, smiling.

"Hallo, you."

She's found herself a cozy little spot near the front window- near enough to the door, but far enough out of the main 'crowd'. Jack will always get a smile.

"'llo yourself."

"Glad you decided to come along," he says, settling in next to her. "We could all use a good excuse for recon, anyway," he adds, a bit quieter. "Both in the town and with ...people here."
