This past week has been the most amazing time of my life! John and I just got back from our trip to Hawaii, and it could not have been more MINDBLOWING! Read this!!!

DAY ONE:
My mom and Duane took John and I to the airport in the A.M so we could fly from San Diego to the L.A.X. Our flight left at 6:50 A.M to which we walked out into the runway into this little jet that had perpellers and only 3 seats wide. I was scared since it was such a small plane, but it went smooth. Our flight from the L.A.X to Honolulu was much different! We got onto a huge 757 and sat in the front and watched Harry Potter on my laptop and Hitch on the plane. After more then 5 hours we got to Hawaii!

We then got our bags and went to rent a car! It was so nice to have a car that we could tour the island with and be able to up and go at will. John beat the hell outta that poor car by dropping the E-break and peeling out all while scaring people. HaHa! We got to the Hotel at Noon and couldnt check out to we went to Waikiki Beach where John went out Surfing and I went Boogie Boarding! We then checked into the Aston and cleaned up and went to eat at this Italian place. Yum! Then? SLEEPIE TREATS!

DAY TWO:
We got up and headed for where else? THE NORTH SHORE! We took the Freeway up there and stopped at the Dole Pineapple Plantation to see the Worlds Biggest Maze! After which we went into Waimea Valley and hiked up too this beautiful natural waterfall to which we got to swim in! Yes, JOHN AND I SWAM IN A WATERFALL! It was rather chilly but you got used to it and it was the most beautiful slight ever. You cant help to connect with nature, wonderful.

After our hike back down we crossed the street to Waimea Bay! I noticed in the corner there was a huge rock cliff where people were jumping off the rocks. This had John's name all over it, and he climbed up and did back flips off this 60 foot cliff! Everyone was like "Geesh, look at that guy!" I couldn't help but to wanna say "Yeah thats my boyfriend." I even heard some of these locals commenting on how crazy he was *Giggles* So, we laid out and headed off! Down the highway we saw this stand which was selling Shaved Ice (with over 40 flavors) and Corn. John and I indulged in this by having 4 corns and 2 shaved ices. YUM!

After our tummys were full we went to the Hawaii Mormon Temple which was nessled into the green Mts and was absolutly breath taking. John and I took a tour through the Visitor center and then went to the BYU Hawaii. We went on to go to the Polynesian Cultural Center! There, we saw an IMAX film about Coral Reefs and then went to a real Luau! We saw Hula dancers and pigged out some more! After the Luau we spotted a tree with Coconuts on it. John managed to knock one off and I smuggled it out by putting it under my Sweatshirt and looking 9 months pregnant. It was halarious! After the P.C.C we drove back around the Island to the Hotel through the rain, which was suprisingly relaxing.

DAY THREE:
This was one of the favorites! We got up in the A.M and went PARASAILING! Yes, my sorry ass went Parasailing! John and I went up together and had a blast. They hook you up to a Parachute and take off and we went up 600 feet! It was amazing to be looking DOWN on the birds. The tour guide took a roll of film of us on our turn which turned out so cool, I will post those when scanned.

After parasailing, John and I went back to the Northshore which ment more Shaved ice and corn! HeHe We went back to Waimea Bay to jump off the rocks and enjoy the rest of the day on the North Shore, which is so much more "classic hawaii" compared to the city side of Waikiki and Honolulu.

DAY FOUR:
OKAY, I Take it back. THIS WAS MY FAVORITE DAY! HeHe. This day John and I rented Mopeds/Scooters! They were only 45 dollars each for 24 hours, which were two stoke and hauled ass! It was so much nicer then a car because we could ride on sidewalks and park where the hell we wanted. NO WAIING! We scootered up to Diamond Head and hiked more then a mile to the top of this crater mountian and looked down upon Hawaii. The breeze was amazing after that hike and I can see why the Hawaiians used it as a ritual site.

After Diamond Head we rode around town and then went over to China Town to eat lunch. This was like REAL chineese food. No forks or regular chow mein. HaHa. My surprise. But it was an experience. After lunch John and I rode our scooters over to Pearl Harbor and visited the USS Arizona. When we left it was getting dark to we drove back and relaxed and went out at night.

DAY FIVE:
We got up early and drove our scooters over to the Hawaii Aquarium and saw some amazing creatures that you cant just see at Sea World. We then ate and turned our scooters back in, reluctantly mind you, and decided to drive up to the Pali look out which takes you through this rainforest. We drove up the highway and got to the lookout which turned out to be more then we expected! The view was surreal but on the way to the car I spotted this overgrown foot trail and John and I tossed the ideas around to see where it went. We decided,"Lets go for it, we're in Hawaii!" and Hiked this trail. It was so steep and had old wires tied to trees so you could help get up! At the end it took us ABOVE THE TREE TOPS to this lush green cliff on the TIP TOP if this huge mountian! Pictures of this will be posted as well. The wind at that high was blowing so hard that near the edge, John could lean forward and be blown back. After we left the Pali look out we headed, once again, BACK TO THE NORTH SHORE! *giggles* We went to Pipeline and then to where else? Waimea Bay to get some more R & R.

DAY SIX:
The thought of this being our last day was depressing, but we made the most of it. we checked out at Noon from the hotel and drove up to Hanauma Bay which is a snorklers paradise. We had to watch this film because its a coral reef and needed to learn how to swim around it and what creatures we could see. After which we hiked down and rented snorkling gear and dove in! the water (every where in Hawaii for that matter) was bright blue and clear. We saw puffer fish, rainbow looking fish, and even an eel!! Walking up we saw wild Moongeese, which John wanted to make friends with. *giggles* At ths point it was after 4:00 P.M so we decided to drive around the East side of the Island to where we hadn't seen. Sandy beach could be like San Diego's P.B. You know, where all the "cool kids" hang ten. We went shopping and turned the car in and headed to our terminal to go home.

Our flight home was gnarley. We had a Red Eye flight, which left at 9:30pm and flew for 5 hours back to the L.A.X at 5:30am (Note: Time change) We then got back into our commuter plane at 8:00am to fly home to San Diego at 9:00 A.M. So all in all John and I were working off no sleep. It wasnt bad. It was actually an adventure. An adventure that I will never in my life forget. How many people get this lucky? Not alot I know.
