For my linguistic anthropology class, we have to write a paper about a word or phrase that has somewhat complicated connotations, and I'm doing mine on "fag hag." I was surprised to learn that it is due on Thursday, and we're supposed to do surveys and stuff to get something to write about. I'm looking at journals and books and mostly getting a description of the term which isn't how I ever interpreted it. So, please, everyone who reads this, leave a comment (preferably without reading other peoples' comments first) on how you define the term fag hag, or on exactly how you would imagine a person if all that you were told was that they were a fag hag (age, physical appearance, reason for being a fag hag, whatever). Whether you have two words to say or two pages, leave a comment, alright? Unless you're reading this and it's Thursday or later. Then forget it.
Also, I am probably, if Dane can get the 22nd off, coming for a few days for Easter, so those of you who have never met Dane might get to meet him.
Also, I got a volunteer position in this study where I get to hang out in this room in the psychology building that's set up like a bar, and serve people beer. It's practice for my future career in bartending.
Don't forget to leave that comment.
