(no subject)
Yesterday was one of those rare days when neither Dane nor I have to go to school or work (although we probably should have been studying for one of the midterms we have later this week.. But anyway..), so we went to the zoo. We were only there for a couple of hours before it closed, most of which was spent at the gift shop and food area (thanks to Dane!) but we did see some orangutans, and they were tying burlap sacks around the wires in their cage. Like, tying regular knots like humans do. It was pretty cool. Speaking of pretty cool, it was 24 degrees when we left the house today, which was pretty late (10ish). It didn't really feel that cold, but I was wearing a lot of layers.
