....I am laughing so hard at this challenge. ♥ , mods, ♥
Voted for one event for the added challenge, and for one whole event for everyone. The way I look at it, stuff could be structured so that those in a higher level would be taking the same challenge, but there is an added twist to their tasks each time to make it worth their higher levels? For example, say this (Poyos) event...someone on the lower level starts with say, 10 of these. Perhaps with each increasing level, they increase by number? Well, not exactly 10 for each level (because good grief, I'd hate to be the person stuck with 150 Poyos), maybe....3 or 4 more per level depending on how far up they are? Something like that.
This would of course require some clarification of the difficulty cap of each level would be. But idk, this is just my two cents.
That's actually a good option to take. It'll be easier to maintain, and we could provide extra caps to make it more challenging for some of the higher-leveled characters. We try to put as much information as we could in the events, so we'll make sure to run the caps by the players so to make things fair! It's definitely going to be taken into consideration.
It won't be so cute once all the slimy and cold little jelly fingers stick themselves to your skin. It's like having jelly goo all over you!
Pffffft~ We can totally capture his personality in a Q&A! It'll consist of ... and uh-huh.
That's what we were thinking as well. We wouldn't exactly want to confuse the players by making Level 1 go and hunt queen bees while doing the duck walk, Level 2 go and catch mudkips while dancing the cha-cha, Level 3--- you get the point. It'll be confusing for everyone, which is what we want to avoid at all costs.
Seconding (thirding?) the suggestion about one event for all with an added twist/challenge for those at higher levels.
Or perhaps sometimes the objective for an event could be something completely different for those on higher levels even though the conditions of the event look the same at the outset? I can imagine that characters are going to talk to each other via the communicators a fair bit during events, maybe try to get ideas off of each other, so it would be sneaky and devious (and very fun) if there was a bit of trickery sometimes: everyone thinks they're doing the same thing, but what works on one level actually backfires on another or something like that.
Also, thanks for the clarification about what time zone things are running on--I had been planning to ask. :D
That's what I was thinking. It'll still technically be the same event, but with added twists depending on what level you are. It'll be easier to maintain and hopefully cause less confusion than several different events.
No worries~ it was something I noticed was going to be a problem while going through the applications, so I thought it would be more helpful with a given timezone to follow.
