The Number One Reason...
Chaz's Dad Is Freaking Awesome!!!!
So Saturday was my half birthday, which I jokingly celebrate. Chaz and I were laying on his bed and he was like "Aw man, I wish it hadn't rained and I hadn't fallen asleep. Your gift is outside." So I jokingly poked and guessed if it was the roses growing on the side of his house. It was, and he looked pouty. Apparently he had asked his father how to cut roses so that he could get them, but had fallen asleep before he could cut them for me.
About 10 minutes later his Dad came in saying "Charley, you left something out here." In the kitchen his dad had cut three roses blooming beautifully and put them into a little vase and made Chaz take all the credit. Chaz, feeling guilty, told me in the car later. But honestly, that is so sweet. I don't know many parents who would even *think* to do that for their kids. I love the whole situation.
So that is why Chaz's dad is freaking awesome. Because that does make him freaking awesome.
Well, that is all. I'm in for the night. To bed I go!!!!
