"Wh-what?" Changmin sputters, completely taken aback by what he had just heard. He looks over to Yoochun;pauses, looks at Junsu, and then back to Yoochun again, before confirming with Yunho. "They're together??!" He mouths. "Already?"
Yunho nods and is calm and steady, like he has heard of the news long ago.

Jaejoong smiles triumphantly, sticks out his long lanky arm and beckons to Changmin (who is still recovering from the aftershock) who hands over a crumpled ten-thousand won note, clearly defeated.

"Twenty-thousand won next, yes?" Jaejoong nudges the other man at his ribs. "I'll win for sure, I've tons of dirty little secrets waiting to be bought from you, Min."

Changmin doesn't say anything but watches on as Junsu reaches over to kiss Yoochun's forehead and vice versa, he watches on as Junsu hums a new melody and Yoochun comes up with a rap, the lyrics being a confession to his lover, he watches on as Junsu announces that the both of them would be skipping dinner  tonight because he wants to bring  Yoochun to an Italian buffet.

He watches on (tears brimming in his eyes) and watches on as Junsu slips his hand into Yoochun's (it could have been his) and left the dormitory.

The door slams, like how the door to Junsu's heart has already closed, only having sufficient space for one person, that is Yoochun.

"They kissed."
"NO WAY!"
"Yes way! Under the mistletoe, on Christmas."
"I refuse to believe."
"Go ahead, be delusional. I saw it, with my very own pair of shining eyes."
"Shut up."

"You still love him, don't you?"
"Mmmhmmm"
"What's so good about him? He speaks gibberish all the time." Jaejoong rolls his eyes.
"You speak gibberish all the time too, Jae."
"Yeah, I think you might like me. Honestly, what's so good about Junsu? I can sing as well as him."
"Yeah you can sing as well as him but you can't dance as well as him. That's one thing. But really, it isn't about singing or dancing, Jae. I love him because he's Su, Kim Junsu ."
"So do you think you might like me?"
"Get off me!"

"Still heartbroken?"
"Shut up or I'll make you pay back for it." A muffled voice comes from under the blanket
"Look, I'll help you get over him." Jaejoong's eyes sparkle and grinning slyly, he continues, "Okay here's the deal. If I help you to get over your heartbreak, I'll give you back your ten-thousand won."
"You can try."

The atmosphere at the bar is noisy, crazy, and Changmin doesn't like it. His head throbs from the loud, pounding music and he gets irked when the drunkards push him from side to side, dancing around him like their on drugs. Besides, he has never enter a bar before so what the fuck is he going to do if he loses sight of Jaejoong?

"Two, orange vodka please." Jaejoong gives his sweetest smile to the female bartendar in front of him.
"Lets leave. Honestly, is this how you're gonna help me? I don't drink."

Jaejoong pushes the glass in front of Changmin and prompted him. "Just drink it. Drink it and you'll forget about Junsu and Yoochun and you know, the world starts to get better. You don't need Junsu to make you happy, drinking is akin to happiness."

"So this is how you forget stuff? And got over your ex?"

"Yeah sort of-" Jaejoong murmurs, ordering another glass of vodka.

Changmin wonders if this was the reason why Jaejoong did not come home at night sometimes, or why he always has a hot towel on his head the next morning, he was perhaps drinking away his loneliness.

Changmin could see people through like a transparent sheet. And he could definitely see right through Jaejoong.
Jaejoong was the guy who would give his hundredand one  percent in a relationship, he would appear outside his lover's doorstep on rainy days with a bouquet of flowers, he will cook pancakes in the middle of the night for his lover. But at the end of the day, they dumped him because he was too clingy, too crazy, and they never understood him anyway.

"Hey, you're not alone." Changmin mumbled, looking into Jaejoong's melancholy-filled eyes and then takes a large mouthful of the vodka. "You know, I think we both need a little love. Two-sided one of course."

The two of them had barely make it past home, the both of them were constantly tripping over each other's feet, gaining weird stares from onlookers and Jaejoong who was completely drunk (Changmin was a little more sober) had to be dragged up the stairs to their domitory, but Changmin doesn't really mind. In fact, not at all.

"You're awake." Jaejoong giggles, his face still red.
Changmin finds himself pressed against Jaejoong's bare chest. He put his fingers to Jaejoong's lips. They don't say anything, just wanting to enjoy the silence between them.

Changmin tilts his head up and his eyes flicker over to Jaejoong.
Jaejoong is beautiful, outside and inside, Changmin realises. And sinking deeper into his thoughts, Changmin thinks about how he doesn't want loneliness to be wearing out Jaejoong's beautiful soul, he thinks about how he wants to put his hands into Jaejoong's and walk together in the streets of Seoul, he thinks about bringing Jaejoong to all the amusement parks all over the world to make up for the happiness he has lost over the years.

"So," Jaejoong breathes. "Have you gotten over your heartbreak? I mean, I am suppose to give you back your money if you did."
"I did." Changmin grins. Do it now, do it now, do it now, Shim Changmin, or it'll all be over. "but I would even give you my credit card and my entire life savings if you could be mine."

Jaejoong presses his lips onto Changmin's, their noses bumping awkwardly against each other's. They pull away from each other at the exact moment, finding themselves laughing and blushing.

"Oh, it was weird. So, so, weird." Jaejoong cracked up.
Changmin nods his head in agreement to Jaejoong's statement and quips "But practice makes perfect."

Jaejoong runs his fingers into Changmin's hair and whispers into his ears. "I love you."
"I love you too."

And this, is the start of something new.
