Family History: Lucius Malfoy, born to Abraxas and Violet Malfoy (thus starting a tradition of Malfoy men being attracted to women with flower-type names) in 1954. He had a priviledged childhood, and was given the best of everything. In 1965 he started at Hogwarts, where he was immediately sorted into Slytherin and wasted no time making a name for himself and joining the elite ranks of the "Slug Club."
Two years after leaving Hogwarts, his father contracted Dragon Pox and passed away. Two years later, his mother followed.
A year before his mother's death, he married Narcissa Black, the youngest of the Black sisters -- as well as the one who fit into his life the best. He was captivated by her beauty, and not at all put off by her sometimes-shallow nature or shrewishness. In fact, he found her amusing. Although he wouldn't admit it to anyone beside her, he found himself in love, and hoping that one day they would have many childrentogether. When she gave birth to their son, Draco, it was the proudest day of his life, and he looked forward to repeating it several times over.
Unfortunately, this was not to be. Despite his disappointment, however, he claimed that Narcissa and Draco were enough, and that he was as happy as any one man could be.
As the Malfoy heir, it was not expected nor wanted for him to enter into business. Therefore, he set up a facade as a philanthropist and investor, and turned his attention to a new power rising in England in the Seventies. He gave his allegiance to Tom Riddle. The only time he diverged from that path was when Voldemort was seemingly killed on Halloween of 1981, when he claimed to have seen the error of his ways. He again showed his true colours when Voldemort rose again, after the Tri-Wizard Tournament, and Lucius re-took his place amidst his circle of followers.
The next year, he was imprisoned in Azkaban for his role in the Department of Mysteries, and remained there until the Death Eaters freed them. He spent the next five months in South America, gathering support for Voldemort's imminent return to power. He now is living in hiding in Wiltshire with Narcissa, awaiting orders from Voldemort and wondering just where his son is.
