I was shocked and appalled
they cut my leg open at 3:something am today. i was crying and pleading. terrified and shaking. they cut me anyway. the shoved i gigantic q-tip into my leg and poked around deep inside my leg. then they shoved the hole in my leg full of gauze strips. they chastised me for crying and for being scared. i was in so much pain and the nurse practitioner did not even care. he just jabbed needles and and sharp metal objects into my sore and swollen infected leg. told me i was stupid for waiting so long and for smoking. it was a horrible experience and i can hardly walk today. i am so glad my husband is here to help me and change my dressings. he is beyond wonderful.
