(no subject)
So, aside from being busy doing the banner for Carly yesterday, I've also been busy the last couple days getting programs running and whatnot. That's right, in the past 48 hours I've gotten the scanner hooked up, Painter 9 loaded, and Photoshop 7 reloaded to be on the mysterious second hard drive that lurks within the replacement laptop. Whence it came from or why I know not, only that I am thankful for the opportunity not to slow down performance. ♥
Anyhow, so as an extra-special sharing today, I have a very late but surely belated birthday present for afairysharp. I swear, it wouldn't have taken so long to do if it weren't for various computer problems and school getting in the way. Drawn and colored entirely in Painter 9 with the help of my trusty Wacom tablet; finishing details added in Photoshop.
Also available for view/comment on my DA account, but since it's behind the mature wrapper, I thought I'd make it available via Photobucket for non-account members, too.
Also, if anyone's familiar with Senkaiden Hoshin Engi (which is now being translated and published by VIZ here in the US, so you should all be reading it, dammit!!) I have a watercolor picture of Dakki that I did months ago. I'm going to upload it on DA in a while, too, but I want the other one to have some time to get attention. xDD Heheh.. I'm so terrible. Some of it got chopped off because the scanner is smaller than the picture is, and the scanner's quality kinda sucks anyway.
*sigh* seeing that just makes me wish I had a high-quality version of the gankutsuou one I did. Perhaps I should make another, slightly steamier one... >3
