Absolutely breathtaking ... it's wonderful that places like this exist. It makes me a little angry that I was born in a place like the United States ... with relatively little history compared to many parts of Europe. I'm not very patriotic. I felt more at home in Europe ... not necessarily just because of its beauty either.

I went to the fireworks today with friends, many of them from high school (Aimee) <3. So that felt really nice.
