Ninon is over 500 years old, and a fairy; specifically, she is a sylph. As far as Nicoline previously knew, she was just a spacy hippie she did rock climbing with, but...frankly, of all the supernatural revelations she's had recently, Ninon being a fairy is one of the few that actually makes total sense. The discovery that one of Nicoline's own ancestors might have tried to abduct Ninon to kill her and take her magical power, however, is considerably more concerning, and it makes Nico wonder what else Ninon knows about the Angewyns.
