Dream 2007 - because living well is the best revenge
Sensible Car of my dreams. Forget a Ferrari (Ok, I cannot afford one), forget a Porsche (sure a second-hand one is affordable, but I would have to give up food to afford the repairs); in fact, forget 2 seater sports cars that say "over compensating" or "I'm trying too hard."
Either I have grown up, or I have lost my sanity. My current dream car is the Lexus IS300. The perfect blend of performance and sensibility. Solid Lexus reliability, sufficient creature comforts, and 0-100km/h times of under 7 seconds. The heart of the beast is a 3 litre inline 6 pumping out 215 horses.
Here's a car which I hope to aspire to. An automotive equivalent of me. Here's a car I can grow old with *LOL* A car I can drive all the way to California without needing a chiropractor at the end of the trip. Here's a car I can pick friends from the airport in when they pay me a visit (HINT).
This is a car that is understatedly beautiful without screaming "look at me." Here's a car I can take down to the Mission Raceway on days when I feel like letting lose. This is the car I can carve up the Sea-to-Sky dancing with the tarmac in an hour long orgasmic bliss.
