7 days of funeral. many things happened. i knew they happened for a reason but i don't really understand fully.
FIRST
there was a floral wreath delivery from CHC (it's much appreciated) but the problem lies with the delivery man. according to my Dad, he came at midnight, carried the wreath and placed among the rest of the wreaths (with his back facing the funeral) and left without a word. the correct procedure is to ask for acknowledgement from the family members by signing a slip, but that slip was left on the wreath. and he had to park his car at a rather far car park instead of the one nearest to the wake.
Dad's P.O.V:
even though he said he didn't know whether the delivery man is from CHC or not (which of course, it shouldn't be) whatever he said to me was so sacarstic and arggg.. he said that whatever happened was really rude and they (the church) didn't show any respect to the family members and my Grandma. that delivery man was so sneaky about the floral wreath, and that made my Dad really pissed.
but seriously, i find it weird myself too. so does Merilyn & Wei Fang. it's just out of the usual for this to happen. neither of us expected it as well. but Dad's tone was really harsh and that makes me ARGGG, he's saying as if it's all the church and my fault.
SECOND
after the wreath was sent, a lot of my cousins now know that i'm from CHC. so there was this cousin who was from another church, a presbyterian one, who came up to me and asked about CHC. he was saying that his church is very into bible study and asked about CHC's bible study. i told him about those BS books we had and he continued on to the topic on tongues. he asked if i knew how to speak and whether i can speak anywhere (like at that instance). i said yes and he claimed that speaking in tongues is for non-believers and that every tongue must be interpreted and it could only be spoken in church. he said there were verses in the bible that supported what he said. (he even wanted to show me the verses when he brings his bible, and he really did! but i was busy with my friends so he didn't came up to me! HA) so i tried to defend. and when he found himself at a contradiction, he kept saying 'it's not for me to comment'. THEN FREAKING DON'T COMMENT?! he's like a 30 plus years old and he don't know how to be sensitive?!
THIRD
there was another cousin who got on my nerve. he just converted to be a catholic not longer than 5 years. and one evening when i was going back home after dinner at the wake, i walked passed this table where he, his wife and his friend was sitting at. he asked me to join them (WTH?) after i sat, he got his friend to continue with what he was saying previously. and then i realised that his friend was a backslider from CHC. the reason why he backslided is because his cgl said something that affected him a lot - 'you should give up your interest and try to serve God more'. he found it ridiculous and even more disappointed when his cgl didn't bother to ask him why he backslided. when my cousin prompted him about how he find Ps Kong, he replied that he feels Ps Kong is an inspirational speaker, he grasp your attention and is not bad afterall. so this fella's problem is with the leader solely. throughout this whole AWKWARD convo, i just sat there and my cousin kept winking, it's as if he was saying 'see.. your church is not good' (even more WTH!) after that, his friend asked my cousin why he wanted him to say all these and when he realised that i was from CHC, the atmosphere got even more AWKWARD, i was super pissed!! he's also a 30 plus years old and he's so immature doing this without considering my feelings. WHAT'S WITH ALL THIS 30 PLUS YEARS OLD FELLAS!? DID THEIR BRAINS DISSOLVE OR SHRANK AS THEY GROW OLDER?!

i didn't want to lose control of my emotions so i didn't scream at them. but i felt horrible after all this because i wasn't capable enough to defend my beliefs :/
