my trip to stony brook "hospital"
So i get to the er around 8pm and i was in pain but if you know me, i was cracking jokes. they had me in triage and into a chair in the waiting room right away and after sitting there for an hr and a half i started to go nuts from the pain. i did enjoy eating those ice chips again, they reminded me of labor lol anyway i kept seeing people covered in bloody clothing and joking that everyone blew there hands off since it was the 3rd of july lol also the cute lil girl next to me was like "BROCCLI!" and her moms like " i dont see any broccli" and shes like "broccli!" so her moms like " ok, broccli!" lol
anyway this dude comes out with a machine to take my info and says name and i say kaplan and i see stacy listed on the screen and jays liike NOT stacie and the dudes like oh youve had the pleasure of meeting her? and jays dumbass is like tahts her half sister so then im aplogizing lol and were laughing and he says she comes in about once a week but usually during the day so i should be safe.
i get in and the new rooms are super sweet. flat screen tv with cable and jeff dunham was on. unfortunately by this time i was groaning and crying cause my ear was exploding. i didnt get to see a doc till like 11 and he looks at my ear and says " woah" lol so my ear is bulging and i have a fever and pharanghitis and all that good stuff and they give me one oxy which to me is like one big cup of water lol but it took a bit of the edge off at least. im waiting for it to kick in when lewis black came on starting to calm down they said their gonna discharge me and omg i forgot to mention that down the hall the ENTIRE time is this crazy guy growling like a wolf and making awesome noises that made me laugh and saying things that sounded incoherant but dirty like SUCK SUCK SUCK lol and NOOO NO NO NO demons or something idk but anyway im starting to feel a tad bit less dead and this nurse comes in and says we have to move u to the hallway
im like wtf? i was here first! ive never gotten a room and THEN been moved to the hallway
so they move me to the hall way and give my room to miss trashed outta her mind who apparently had 3 glasses of wine and 6 whiskey sours in 3 hrs, chocked and her friend gave her the heimlick, and then passed out. she was carrying on and being a bitch.
anyway i get signed out and i get a prescription for ear pain drops ear meds oral anitbiotics and 15 oxy, which wont last me through the day. im in utter agony and now the other ear is hurting, and im nausous, my eyes itch, im miss the fireworks, and i cant even talk or swallow. anyway so thats what happened.
also ive had a few people say something along the lines of "your sick AGAIN?" or "when are you not sick?" and it hurts. i take good care of myself, i have a very poor amune system because of my dissability. if i had lupus would u mock me? no. so please try and understand im damn sick of being sick.
