Finally, The Talus has Come BACK to Al'Taieu.
Sorry about the cheesy title. It's just my birthday is May 2, same as The Rock. I could probably be his body double except I'm 4 inches shorter than him and probably 40 or 50 lbs lighter. Anyway, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves really, but before I do, I'll fill you in.
Early when I logged on, I harvested for about two hours in Giddeus for 2 red grass cloths & 2 red grass threads (hey, shit happens).. with the intention of making a Trader's Chapeau, which is a pimp looking hat a MNK can wear as well. I had a few people model it other than myself. After I HQ'd the trader's chapeau (baron's chapeau, INT+2 Enmity+2, Lv 20 Bunch O' Jobs), I head to Fafnir. I got there about 2 or 3 minutes before he popped, Xtek won the pull for Illuminati with Provoke in a fairly spurious pull in how fast it was, anyway. There's a thread on ffvault about that, about who uses bots to win pulls, etc etc. I've never used any kind of tools with this game but then again I'm on the top of Maszlow's Hierarchy of Needs, in the self-actualization area... plus my penis is pretty large. Anyway... on the pics of the pimp hat models:
So who looks best in the Baron's Chapeau? KB, Buz or Verenna?
Anyway, moving right along. Fuck Tenzen! Finally whupped his ass. Well, technically I really didn't. If you want to win this fight, like I suggested before, throw more black mages at it. Which is what we did. You can check & see who's in the party in the screenshots:
