Is it insane that I love the smell of my son so much that all I want to do when I hold him is bury my face in his hair and breathe him

Oh man, I have that book. I've tried to read it to Audrey a few times but start sobbing and have to stop!

i sobbed while reading it to ben when he was just about that age. and then when he threw my phone in the toilet at age 1 or so, i laughed. (well, i laughed later anyway)

and then i wrote a column about it for the newspaper!

right now, i'm identifying most with "sometimes the mother felt like she was IN a zoo!"

And here I thought I was crazy -- my daughter has a smell as well, and I can just sit there and breathe her in as well. :)
