Birthday adventures
Today is Stephen's 27th birthday, which, for some reason, seems a lot closer to 30 than 26 did. He almost couldn't work today because his license expires today and even though he sent his money in FOREVER ago (and it's been cashed!) they never sent his license back to him. Lots of crazy emergency phone calls later, he learned that they are changing over their computer system and the lag time is horrible and they're "very sorry." Last I heard, they were supossed to fax it to his work so that he could still see his clients today. Since he didn't call here complaining that they were sending him home, clearly everything must have worked out OK.
So I'd say "Yay for good birthdays" except that I think I managed to overdo it yesterday and now I have gotten resick. (Yeah, I was sick. Posted about it over here http://thesynergizerkitty.blogspot.com/2008/03/sick-again.html) Do you know how hard it is to watch a toddler when you are running to the bathroom every 20 minutes? We've had some weird improvisations today.
Le sigh. I really wanted to cook Stephen a cake this afternoon, but I keep getting dizzy when I stand up. And that's AFTER taking an hour and a half nap with Ben. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
