Go to the post office and forward our mail.
Talk to MIL about the fact that I still have her car. Does she want it back? Do I have to clean it? Etc.
Try to make some $$$ and read my friends page without spending all day online.
Make dinner. I promised stir-fry, which is really labor intensive. I don't know what I was thinking.
Clean the catbox. Just the one for our cats if I'm short on time and/or cranky, but all of them if I can manage. I went to the grocery store with my mom today and we dropped $230 on a week's worth of food, I kid you not. Last week it was only $175 and I paid for $105 of it (that's what I had) but this week she paid all of it. Yipes. Luckily, Stephen had just given her a "rent" massage the night before and she was really impressed. (Confidential from him later: "And I wasn't even trying very hard! I must be a lot better ...")
Try to keep the rest of the house from looking like a tornado exploded all over it, which is kind of what it looks like after today.
Organize our "apartment" a little better so Ben will stop getting into everything and I can find stuff easily. The room we're staying in is my old bedroom from when I lived here, but it had since been converted to basically a storage room. It's the size of both the kitchen AND the dining room, and they are both pretty spacious. So we divided it in half with a furnature wall and put Ben's bed on one side and our bed on the other side. It almost makes it feel like he's sleeping in a separate room. In case you were wondering, this is for his benefit, not ours. It's not like it blocks any sound or anything. And we can see over it. The point I guess, is just that he's been in his own room for about four months or so (is that all? feels like a lot longer) and we didn't want to lose the progress we've made by having him in our bed all night long again. Then we'd have to start over again when we leave here, whenever that will be.
So far, it's been nice though. My mom made meatloaf for dinner and it was so good. Mmmm. Mom's meatloaf.
Oh, and Ben went to the Playland place at Fred Meyer today. It was his first time ever. When I picked him up, I asked him how it went. (in toddlerese) and he said that he had a good time and that it was better than having to go on the whole grocery shopping trip with us.
PS: The puppy bowl is on right now and it's so ridiculuously cute that I'm not even sure what to do with myself. Tee hee.
