have you tried financial aid? i know the fafsa is a real pain but i bet you could get quite a bit.

you could also try doing an americorps program. they take care of everything for you in terms of food/shelter, you can save up a little from the end of the program, and you get a $4500 scholarship at the end of it all.

i'm taking a few years off too -- maybe we'll end up together in grad school psych somewhere. i know you can do it.

hey,

i don't know if you're interested but in strict confidentiality, i have this little private journal that i update ridiculously often. i thought you might be interested because i think you're a really neat person and would understand such things as maniacal as me and my stupid excuse for a life. anyway, i added you - the username is boschee. i hope everything works out for you, i still have all the stuff you ever sent me and look at it often. peace.

Unfortunately FAFSA hates me, but the Americorp thing sounds interesting. I'll have to check it out. I threw around the idea of joining the Navy, hahaha cough. You're incredible - of course I added your other journal. Thanks for letting me know.

i'm sorry to hear about your past history with the fafsa. time heals all wounds.

americorps is really a great option. i just joined this campaign to go into inner city schools to inform high school students of alternatives to the army. a big part of it is explaining other options like americorps for scsholarships. americorps has soooo many programs (teaching, habitat, environmental, disaster relief, etc.), it really helps your college application, you can go anywhere in the country, and you're doing something great for the community and yourself. best of luck with everything!
