Something boring
On Friday, April 9, I decided to make use of the InterLibrary Loan system for the first time. While I'm still in this university. It said to wait at least ten days, but to count on more during busier times. I supposed that a busy time would be during midterms and finals. Those were over in March. I waited until April 26 to walk to the InterLibrary Loan office and ask if I somehow missed the notification. I hadn't.
I checked my e-mail this morning and found that I had been notified yesterday afternoon--just an hour after I left campus. Yay. So I decided to go to school today to pick it up. Coooool.
Instructions also said that there are usually no renewals, that you must pick it up ASAP because the days it is held in the office count toward the due date. That is, there is a set due date no matter when you pick it up. I expected the usual two-week loan. Actually, it's due May 23, 2004.
Awesome. I'm going to photocopy the hell out of this book. ;)
