Two things, one possibly cool
On my way home, I noticed the traffic lights at a very busy cross-section weren't working. Every time this happens, I think about how much I don't envy the cop whose job it is to stand in the middle and direct traffic. Los Angeles = fun to drive in!
Then, when passing the apartment building next to mine, I saw two people at the entrance. One was a woman in a wheelchair, and the other was a guy on one knee as they talked. I only saw them for a second, but I kept wondering. Was the guy down there simply so she would be at eye level so they could have a conversation, or was he proposing? I mean, he'd want to be at eye level especially for an extended conversation, but going on one knee is pretty darn uncomfortable.
Then again, I only saw them for a second. Who knows what happened a second earlier and a second later?
