There was a huge-ass spider climbing along the blinds just now. Normally I'd prefer to just put the bugs out if I can, but often it's just too difficult and I'll need to kill them. I simply don't know the difference between the deadly and non-deadly ones, and I can't risk it. I have found that the best poison is laundry detergent. I don't know why. I only accidentally found that ants die immediately when exposed to it, and that spiders die as well though they might take a second or more. I've also tried it on silverfish and a couple of other bugs, but I don't really know if it works on all bugs. I also don't know if all detergent works; I have the brand "All" on me, and mix it with water in a spray-bottle. What the secret ingredient is is something for another experiment.
I sprayed the spider a few times and he kept on falling but catching hold of the blind again, and wouldn't quite die. He finally fell to the ground, but ran away. Darn. He's probably somewhere behind the mess around my computer desk. I'll get you next time...
