i JUST discovered this book yesterday, may08. i coulnd't check it out though, because somebody else had it on hold (and i checked it out to him). he had a slavic name. miroslav, i think. czech?

Could be Czech, could be Slovakian, Russian, or some south-Slavic languages. Not Polish though, that would be Miroslaw.
