Finishing up the mornings dishes, Ichigo leaned back against a prep table with a sigh. Breakfast hadn't been too hard to prepare, there weren't many people on the ship yet, so the dishes hadn't taken long either. He was frightfully bored, though, and had very little to do the rest of the day. He toyed with the idea of training for a while before pushing it aside. He really didn't feel like trying to train on his own, it was never very productive or fun.
Grabbing a small bowl, he took some of the rice from the morning’s meal and filled the bowl. Exiting the kitchen, he took the bowl with him. Ichigo headed into the crew's quarters and headed for his hammock. Out of his bag he stole a book entitled Some Prefer Nettles if you could read the Japanese cover and he discarded his jacket on the hammock. It too hot for the heavy clothing, anyway. Out of one of the pockets he snatched his reading glasses and headed out to above deck.
Inhaling the salty air with a small sigh of satisfaction, Ichigo walked to the side of the boat and placed the small bowl of rice down on the deck; an offering to the ghost who was supposedly haunting their ship.
That business done, he went to the front of the ship and sat down on the deck, he back against one of the wooden masts. Putting his glasses on, he opened up his book and began to read, hoping the day would go a little faster than it was.
