Content: After a long sleep Sae awakens and explores the ship
Setting: The Hajimaru
Time: Late Sunday Night
Warnings: Scary ghosty girl!
From the back of a long corridor, leading to a series of bedrooms, came the eerie cackle of a young girl. The giggle began as such a gentle sound, a little chuckle maybe, but it soon became heavier. Darker... It began to echo against the bending wooden hull of the ship and splinter off to seep through cracks and leak into the bedrooms of the crew members.
She had awoken, after such a long sleep. Sae found herself in an unfamiliar area surrounded by the familiar scent of the living. She began to walk down the hallway, each step produced a slow, forced, creak. Candles began to dim and flicker wildly, as if the fire itself was terrified by her presence. She wasn't ambling aimlessly, oh no, because a few yards ahead of her were a few twinkling figures, three tiny, bright red, butterflies fluttering gently in the stale air of The Hajimaru. Her eyes, blank and wide, watched them as she walked towards them. Each step Sae took to move nearer, they fluttered further back.
As she neared the end of the corridor, the tiny creatures in sight, Sae froze and a wide, preternatural, grin stretched across her childish face. Someone was moving... She could hear them. One of the living. She turned on the spot, shrieking loudly, her laughter piercing through everything it touched.
"Kyaahaha!! Eeehehehe!! AHAHAHA!!"
Pity the fool who decided to see what the racket was all about...
