Catch Up From the weekend
1) Gen- I want your Pillsbury Doughboy from your picture post. Too Cute!!
2) I really had a relaxing weekend. Seriously, I enjoyed not being bothered the whole time.
Laura's parents let me have my quiet time. I am soo greatful for that.
I managed to go an hour on the eliptical machine this weekend. I was stoked. It was on the easiest level, but still. That was 450 calories burned. (It was just a week ago, that 5 minutes had me exhausted. I know it has a lot to do with my muscles getting used to that movement- so now I can up the level! Exciting!)
3) Mom and sister arrived OK yesterday. We had lunch with Laura's parents and no one said anything too crazy. I pick Laura up tonight from the airport and then we will have dinner with just my mom and sister tonight.
4) Possibly the funniest work story not about work in a long time. All the ladies this morning were complaining that there was an odor in the bathroom. They sent John and Tom in to look, but they couldn't find anything. It wasn't anything in the bathroom. The senior editor brought in fancy cheeses for her birthday included one pungent blue cheese. I nearly died when I heard this. I feel like pulling out my Muppets Party Cruise and playing a few rounds of "Stinky Cheese" tonight! LOL!!!
