Some thank yous and other "Stuff"
1) That you to Moosical for my first overseas Christmas Card ever! That's pretty cool in my book.
2) Also thanks to Gen, Nicole, and Philip (I hope I am not missing anyone) for your cards as well.
3) Today is the Beginning of "Pig-Out Week" here at work. Basically everyone brings in food and it is a big lunch party for a week. I made my Italian Sausage with Rotini and Peppers. It's my own recipe and it is based off of something that my University prepared- although it tastes 10 million times better.
3a) OK, the 21 year old who became one of the managers (not mine) spent the entire morning deep frying 2 turkeys. NOw, I think this is a great thing for Pig Out week. However, he didn't do any work all morning. Next year, let me spend half a day cooking my pasta- on company time. It would never fly. But, that's OK. It was something new.
4) We had a collection for our 2 "Big Bosses" Grumpy old Man and his son. They are getting a dinner and then some theatre tickets to some show downtown. It seems to be a tradition to do that for them. Last year they went to Wicked.
5) My office manager wanted to do something for the Business Manager. There were only 4 of us that went in- for the entire office! I am sorry, but that is pretty sad!
6) Finally, the person that did my job 2 people ago is in the office. Kind of neat to put a face with a name I still get requests addressed to.
7) OK, Reality rant- does it really take an hour and a half to light a fire!?!?!? That was the funniest moment in Survivor since- well OK this season when Billy thought Candice was in love with him. I successfully picked Yul to win. I thought for sure that Ozzy's crying about not knowing his Mexican father was going to give him some votes. Truly these were two of the best Survivor players in a while. I truly had no clue who was going to win.
