I've been thinking lately about how lyrics to songs are about practically whatever you can think of. Though I can't relate to music others can draw their own meaning from it and enjoy it. I guess that's beautiful in its own right and should be considered further by everyone, because I know for a fact that everyone has their own music preferences. Maybe think about how we are all different and how just because you don't like how it sounds doesn't mean it's utter crap. Stop having opinions about music and start to see it on a wider level as something that has a huge impact on so many people's lives. Stop having opinions about everything. Anyone can have opinions but almost no one can have a real deep and meaningful thought about something.
Think about it next time someone plays something you don't like. Look for similarities to what you like instead of just closing your mind because it doesn't have the same flavor as your typical listenings. We have all come from similar cultures because we're all humans with the same basic drives. To understand yourself better you should understand history. Human nature is manifested in everything we do, and when you forget that we're all just people you let yourself down. When you listen to music don't listen to how it sounds but listen to what is being said. Don't search for A major because it sounds pleasant in your skull. Search for beauty in all things and life will be better in all its forms.
Have a nice day.
