raga yaman kalyan
there is a cautionary note on the packaging of my new sauce pan. it reads: "for safety, please keep pet birds out of the kitchen. birds' respiratory systems are sensitive to many kinds of household fumes, including the fumes from extremely overheated non-stick pans." the pan is imported from italy. i hope to use it a lot.
it is 4 am and i am sitting here listening to ashish khan play yaman kalyan on sarod. it also features alla rakha but he hasn't come in yet. i accidentally took a nap after thinking about runja earlier in the evening so i'm not able to go to sleep yet. sometimes i am an odd person, and being awake at this time doesn't help. i learned "donna lee" today but i didn't do any homework. i guess i'll save that for tomorrow.
