Oh god, I haven't posted anything other than knitting on here in ages, but sometimes I feel as if I have enough going on that I want to jot it down for future memories.  This is potentially one of those times...

Things I'm looking forward to:
1. Captured by Robots, Bloodhag, & Stovakor @ The Funhouse on Friday!!
2. Playing @ The Comet on April 18
3. Mini-vacation to San Francisco April 22-25 for Kyle's wedding!!  We're staying in a hotel near Union Square & Fri nights, the wedding is on Saturday in Berkeley so we're staying there on Saturday night in a pretty fancy hotel and then flying back (in and out of Oakland) Sunday and back to work on Monday.  Should be fun!  I bought a travel guide and hope to visit some of the So I Married an Axe Murdered sites, plus Will and I have basically never had a chance to just travel together that wasn't visiting and staying with family so it will be an adventure!

Things I should do before we head out to SF:
1. Find out how the BART works ( a map would be good) and get directions to hotel.
2. Buy a wedding gift!
3. Find something to wear to the wedding.

In other not-really-news but worth mentioning...I am so ridiculously happy with Will and it's almost our 1.5 year anniversary!  Because I'm generally so happy and angst-free I feel like i don't have a lot to write about, but that is pretty sily actually.  I want to remember all these happy times and how he spoils me and is so understanding and sweet and how I am so happy to just be sharing day-to-day life with him.  I love watching Star Trek every night and eating popcorn, and having nice dinners now and then with a bottle of good wine, and having someone to come home to.  It's true domestic bliss and I love it!

Playing with Breaker Breaker is really fun and laid back.  We practice at Ashleigh & Adam's apartment (since we don't have a drummer we can get away with this, no complaints so far!)  We've been playing around 1 show a month, and practicing about once a week, just about the right kind of time commitment I want to make right now.  We're working on some new music, so that is encouraging and enjoyable.

If only I could remove work stress from my life, things would be truly beyond perfect.  But alas, we mortals are not destined for such bliss on this earth - at least that's what I heard.  ;)
