1. I have a significant amount of tattoos - three fish (one upper back, one lower back, one upper chest area, two lotus flowers, and the word "thickening,"). This shocks people a lot, as I currently dress in a fairly adult/preppy manner.
2. English Breakfast tea with milk and sugar is my favorite warm beverage.
3. I wear two types of perfume every day and get complimented fairly frequently on the mix.
4. For a minute just now I couldn't remember what day it is...
5. No one ever buys me a drink at a straight club - but lesbians and gay men have bought me enough drinks to give an elephant alcohol poisoning.
6. I take Claritin daily.
7. In an ideal world, I would live and work in Amsterdam... I would even blend with the natives.
8. The only quote I can ever remember is, "Consistency is the hobgoblin of little minds." RWE ... I can't decide if I can always remember it because it is an amusing way to dismiss accusations of hypocrisy, or if it is because I enjoy the word hobgoblin so much.
9. I fell out of my bed last week, and I'm on the top bunk - this makes the total times I have fallen out of a top bunk = 4.
10. I wish I was better friends with Cassie and Renee. I have wished this since high school. :}
11. I would like to be a brunette for a while, but the person who does my hair says "blah blah blah natural blond blah blah entire world wants it blah blah no."
12. I memorized five hundred words in hopes of conquering the GRE, and ended up doing better in the math section anyway.
13. Sleazy songs that always make me blush and smile: Holiday Inn - Snoop Dogg, Give it to you - Jordan Knight.
14. I can't afford groceries, but bought the most expensive pair of shoes last week ever.
15. I can justify this because I bought them before I couldn't afford groceries (thinking ahead is for silly people, yes I am applying to grad school which counts as thinking ahead... see question 8), and they are adult shoes... which I needed for interviews and grad fairs and such... aaaaaaaand they are featured in this month's Vogue (fall fashion Bible...). Ooh... better still, I didn't even know that they were featured in Vogue when I bought them - I was just naturally that much of a fashionista.
16. I, clearly, am shallow... or (being slightly nicer to my self) concerned with aesthetics. I fight this, but it's fairly pervasive, normally only when it comes to issues concerning myself.
17. I always write in cursive.
18. When I am worried or stressed in any way really... I break out in a rash on my arms and eyelids. I am currently rash free for the first time since the beginning of the summer. :}
19. Senior year of high school I abandoned capital letters on principle. I still don't like them very much.
20. My agnostic self wants to go to Harvard Divinity School to get a Masters in Theological Studies - I mentioned this in a previous entry... but it's still damn amusing. In my defense I want to study the Sociology of Religion and also have a much better knowledge of all faith systems so that I can eventually teach religious tolerance and highlight similarities, but still.
