Will enlighten for Coke
I just got back from spending a few hours at Mark's new condo in south Salt Lake and I like the place! I had my doubts about it and they were cheerfully expended when I walked through the door. It's a spacious living room environment and Mark is doomed to be buying a shitload of dry erase markers for as long as he utilizes that giant white board on the wall (especially if he plans on tiling the bathroom with the stuff, like he was telling me.) I got to see TJ tonight and I forgot how much fun he was to be around. We played games (man I miss those.. I'll be devoting a lot of time to Halo 2 in another few weeks.. so I'm not really complaining) and did some comic geek bonding:
Ricky-"She's not using her powers because she's in denial and not used to them!"
TJ-"I love you, Ricky"
We're planning on watching The Nightmare Before Christmas on Halloween (not the fake Halloween that we're subjected to here in Utah.) and it's starting to sound like a lot of fun. I'm looking foreward to just an overall goodtime with people that understand fun.
I haven't really had a Halloween for a few years now and I feel like creating a really good one this year. I'd begun to become disillusioned toward the holidays and I'm not willing to give up on Halloween. I'm also sick of not carving pumpkins because they get smashed every year. I say, "HEY, you can smash them all you want... The point is: I had a great time carving them out!" That's what I'm committed to this year. I GET MY JACK 'O' LANTERNS!!!
