[Meme] 2010 Fandoms
Three favourite movies: Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland; Inception; Despicable Me.
Three favourite tv-shows: Naruto/Naruto Shippuden; The Big Bang Theory and The Vampire Dairies (Avatar: The Last Airbender deserves a mention as well, because it is just that awesome!)
Three favourite characters: Toph, Hatake Kakashi, Hyūga Hinata. (There's plenty more but those where the ones straight off the top of my head.)
Three favourite ships: Hatake Kakashi/Hyūga Hinata; Walter Dornez/Seras Victoria; Toph/Iroh.
Three favourite non-romantic pairs: Delirium/Dream; Aburame Shino/anyone; Ezio/Rosa.
Three favourite books: White Cat by Holly Black, Graceling by Kristin Cashore and Fables by Bill Willingham.
Three favourite album or song: ...can't actually think of anything.
Three favourite fanvids: Haven't really been that into fanvids that much. Don't have the bandwidth for it just yet.
Three favourite lj communities: colorvary ;lower_tadfield and metafandom .
First Fandom of the year: Supernatural (though it was a carry-over from the year before).
Your best new fandom discovery of the year: Naruto, hands down.
Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year: Supernatural, I think. Technically I've not seen season six yet but the more I think about it - and hear - the more I wonder if it wouldn't have been better if they'd just let it end at season five - think about it, it'd have been a lovely (if bittersweet) end.
Your biggest squee moments of the year: Does finding out I graduated count? No? Uh... when my baby brother got me the whole of Hellsing in English.
Fandom that you never expected to get into: Naruto. I'd heard about it, of course, but it never really blipped my radar until I watched a couple of episodes with my little brother.
Last fandom of the year: Inception.
Overall fandoms of the year: Mostly animes with a couple of films.
Your main fandom of the year: Naruto.
The most missed of your old fandoms: Heroes: so much potential - wasted!
The fandom you haven't tried yet, but want to?: Bleach. I've sort of seen a couple of episodes - and have a whole lot more sitting on my hard-drive waiting for me to watch - but I haven't been able to find the time/inclination to do it just yet.
Complete seasons of tv-shows: Completed the entirety of Naruto and have seen most of Shippuden; Hellsing; and a couple of others that I've probably forgotten about.
Your biggest fan anticipations for the New Year?: Naruto, definitely. I do plan to look into some other animes - Bleach, Shaman King and Kuroshitsuji among others. I also want to try read more mangas. Perhaps even get my paws on a doujinshi or two.
