I LOVED GOF! OMG, it's the BEST yet. The humor was great, having a Brit direct it certainly gives a better feel for the book translation to film and it made you feel like you were a Brit...not sure if that makes sense. I was sad to see most of the subplots eliminated, but hey, to condense a 750+ page book into a 100 page script, something is going to be left out. I hope there won't be too much eliminated from OOTP...that book was longer than GOF.
Ralph as Voldemort was outstanding! I loved Neville's triumph of being the last one in from the ball in Harry's room. Ginny and Neville had some great lines...I could go on and on.
BUT
What I didn't like was the elimination of most of the Rita Skeeter sub-plot and her effects on Harry's reputation. The tasks were well executed but some were added upon and the last one was condensed too much. (ie: no Sphinx, spider, or the upside down veil). I didn't like the elimination of the entire Winky/Dobby sub-plot...it seemed to important to the story. But Newell did write it well without them.
I'll be going again soon, when I'm not running my hindparts around town! But first I must diet.
