Strangeness in dreamland
We all know that I love Harry Potter. This should not be new information to anyone. So it also shouldn't surprise people when I have HP themed dreams. This one was but wasn't. The characters we but they weren't in the right bodies. Make seance?
I had a sister and we were running all over this huge castle (Hogwarts, but not looking like Hogwarts) trying to find a place to sleep. (There was much more to the dream before this, but this seems to be where the extra weirdness takes over). We couldn't find anyplace good because every time we thought we'd found someplace Dumbledor was there and we knew we were not allowed to disturb his sleep. We finally found this one bedroom and were about to hop into bed when the "Monster Book of Monsters" breaks in the room and starts chasing us around, growing bigger and bigger as it does. It was like it was expanding with fur and claws (the book part just got smaller). It looked more like a giant shaggy carpet then a real monster and never had a real face. We finally hid in the dungeon and while we were there the Monster had filled the whole castle then suddenly ripped it off it's foundation and ran away (the castle was more like a suit of armour on it now). We were fine. Soon after these wisps of black smoke came out of the holes where the 4 turrets were. A new castle was forming. When it was complete we were introducing ourselves to the new Baron and Baroness that were going to be living there. We had to give them alias's because we weren't allowed to tell them we were part of the old castle. Something about a new beginning and how evil the old castle was and all that.
Then it faded into a completely different dream. So, how weird is that? And I didn't even have anything strange to eat before I went to bed! There was also strangeness about IKEA furniture units that you could rearrange just by pushing it where you wanted- they were all on these posts that sat in groves in the floor and you just dragged them around.
