I stand corrected. I was able to go to the party last night.
After about 5 hours of running questions back-and-forth from my parents to one of my friends, I finally convinced them to let me go, and so I did. It was pretty cool. <3
We had sugar, caffeine, music ( most of which I wasn't a big fan of.. I prefer Guns N' Roses to My Chemical Romance or Marilyn Manson, but that's just me, I guess ).. Had a bonfire type-thing, and hot cocoa. The fire and the cocoa were awesome, because it was cold like you wouldn't believe outside. I'm talking "couldn't feel my damn knuckles cold".. And I'm normally pretty resistent to the cold, because I'm typically warmer than others.
Some people were dressed up for it.. One of my friends was dressed like some kind of Transvestite Gorilla. Some guy I didn't know was sressed up as a cow.. With a buckweed-like afro. It makes me wish I had dressed up in a costume.. I was gonna' put on an Edward Scissorhands kind-of get-up, but I figured nobody else would have, so I didn't bother.
All-in-all, I had a good time. Met some new people, got some AIM screen-names, had cocoa.
'Twas a succesfull night.
Well, I'm off to finish whatever's left of last night's cake and punch, and collect Grunnies at Gaia.
