Ulysses Factor - a)quest for adventure b)in classic mythology Ulysses traveled the world in a voyage of self discovery
So this is actually in my notes from my Travel and Tourism class....as I trudged through all my notes today for my test tomorrow, I relearned that term. Ulysses Factor...I think I am chronically under the influence of the Ulysses Factor.
Example: Today, had basically decided to be lazy and not run. But then I looked out side and noted the ominous clouds promising rain and quite possibly a full thrunder storm. Now this would just affirm in any sane persons brain that running today would be a bad idea. But no, not me, instead I changed my mind and my shoes as quick as I could and jogged out the door. Each step I was waiting for the first rain drop...looking forward to running, puddle jumping, and singing in the rain. Not 10 minutes into my run I got my wish! Only after thunder reached my ears did I turn for home, and made it soaked and revived. I had been looking for a good excuse to puddle jump, people think that is weird when you reach the age of like 15, which is really sad. Anyway, I degress............
I need to turn in, too much studying and look what it does to me...I mumble about just about anything, and I try to make a facinating story out of something that really only ever entertains me...but hey that is at least one person, it is much more fulfilling to see your story in print rather than milling around in your mind...ok, really, I am done this time....really...
