Hey, that's Dr. Jay Strack, or to his close friends(such as myself) he's simply "Dr. Jay".

Yes, that was a long thought, but it was also a very good thought, one that I wish more leaders of today's youth would have. And if I may offer my humble opinion: no, there are no concrete answers. There is no guidebook or step-by-step plan that says "Follow these 8 easy rules and your kids will be the 'Generation after God's own heart' that you want them to be." Sadly, that book doesn't exist and, though I wish I could be the one to write it, it probably will never exist because of this reason: Each and every kid is dramatically different. Now, that can be a real hardship, but it is also a real blessing because when God does get a hold of their hearts, they all work together and copmliment each other the way a body should. So in short, no "8 easy steps", just God's indevidual leading for each child He created. And though that solution is much harder to decifer, in the end it is a much better plan.
Don't lose heart Lou, you're not in this one alone.
Hero.

Yeah, I know, it is such an inexact science...based soley on human individuality and each persons response to God. I guess it is hard to surrender kids and all I know to do for them to God. Silly,I know, I guess it comes back to human nature wanting to work things out for ourselves....
