[ Lightning really doesn't have much to say about this whole Valentine's mess that's been going on. Basically yeah, what she gets from it? Everyone is celebrating some weird 'Earth' holiday again- one that's supposed to be about love, but for some reason is strangely commercialized in its traditions. Good for them, though. I am. I learned the basics from my dad, but most of what I learned is self-taught.

A lot of it is learning by experience too. Got into a lot of fights and "self-taught" also means... well, surviving those battles.

I get you. It's just that most people where I'm from... don't do any of that. Not unless they're in the military.

[ Keyword 'most.' Someone like Hope? Definitely doesn't fit that description. ]
