Stuff and things
1) Werk: Oh my heavens and kittens. Busy busy busy, with several needy clients and one insane client. Here's a conversation that happened yesterday.
Crazy Client: "We know that we signed off on our workflow several months ago and we're going live in 4 weeks, but we were in a meeting yesterday and we decided that the workflow we signed off on won't work for us."
Me: *puts the phone on mute to release crazy eyed laughter*
Crazy Client: "Oh, and we'd like to go live in 3 weeks instead. Do you think we can do that?"
Me: *takes the phone off mute* "Not if workflow changes." *head desk*
2) Games:
D&D Next: One of the party members accidentally blew up a storage area full of alchemist fire, killing an NPC who was the beloved servant of another party member, and my character's boyfriend. The party is currently split, so my character doesn't know yet that it was another party member who killed this NPC.
WOD: I'm the storyteller, and I've been running the game about 3 years. The players finally came face to face with the BIG BAD that they've been trying to chase down since day one. They snuck around, stayed hidden until they could leave the area entirely, and completely avoided the BIG BAD and have still not had the confrontation of GOOD vs NOT SO GOOD. It was hilarious and a lot of hi-jinx and shenanigans went down. There's other stuff going on, and other plots and parts and stories, but this was the primary plot. I have some awesome players! They keep changing the story.
Shadowrun: The group is now all in Chicago in the Containment Zone. I have hopes we will make it out alive.
Amber: Just started playing. My character has started a journey.
3) Life:
I have an awesome husband. He just is!
I've have officially lost 30 lbs! Go me!!
I have about 5 knitting projects that are still unfinished on the knitting looms.
Within the last week, I've been watching a lot of Old School Dr Who, Twin Peaks, Orange is the new Black, The Voice, Pioneer Woman, and other things here and there.
