On the one hand I'm doing much better about posting then I did the last time I started the journal. However, looking back I haven't posted since July. Spank me somebody....
Let's see what's happened since then... For those of you who are in the know, the trial is still going forward on JP's Assault and Battery charges(against him by a woman). Go figure the legal system. The whole thing should have gone away right there and then. Current trial date is December 14th.
We just celebrated (5 days ago), the 4 month anniversary of the wedding. Yes we are still honeymooners and so, yes we can still do monthly anniversaries. Actually it was a very laid back affair.(no dirty thoughts there ma'am, yes you). We went to our favorite Italian restaurant in the North End of Boston. It is a family owned restaurant that has been there since 1932. Awesome food.
We split an order of stuffed mushrooms, then JP had the Tortollini in a cream sauce and I had Veal Marsala. Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good. There is nothing like old fashioned cooking. I swear I saw the grandmother in the kitchen cooking. Afterwards we just headed home and cuddled for a while, since we both had to be up early-me 5am, him 6am.
Other then that, life is good in generaly good. Married life is very good. The ability, no strike that, the privilege to come home and have someone hug you, kiss you and take your jacket off of you and hang it up and hand you a beer is beyond words. Every day I say a thank you for being married.
Work is busy but getting ready to slow down, thank goodness. It has been a crazy 55-60 hour a week month in October. November is slowing down to Thanksgiving when we begin the first phase of a 15 million dollar renovation. That is a lot of money when you realize that we are privately owned by one family. It is going to be awesome when it is done.
