Kill me now please

Classes started up again on Tuesday last week, and already I'm eager for the semester to be over. I haven't been teaching for very long, but this year I can already tell that this is going to be the year that decides if I want to do this for the rest of my life. Everyone has warned me, just wait till you get a bad class and see how much you love teaching. Thanks for the warning, I should have taken it more seriously. My students are horrible. They can barely play a note, they're immature beyond belief and none of them listen or pay attention for longer then 5 minutes at a time. I feel like I'm dealing with toddlers, not teenagers. I spent half my week writing out detention slips. Apparently it's not just me, one of the drama teachers had a nervous breakdown during class and started crying. Likewise, they let tarantula loose in a girl's loo on the second floor. I don't understand where all these mutant kids came from, but is there anyways of returning them for a new batch? I picked up some wine over the weekend, here's hoping that it lasts till Wednesday.

teenagers are evil, wine, work
