I survived Hurricane Frances!

GAWD, that was a horrible experience, too. No electricity for five days. FIVE DAYS. Like, DAMN. I thought I was extremely deprived until I saw how my brother was acting. He's sitting in the middle of the stairwell, looking up at my older sister, "I'm in despair!" Then there was lightning and a thunder, and my brother walks into the room my sister and I were in, "Electricity?!" Yeah, he went bonkers. Now he's all happy that we have Internet and the computer back.

We lost the electricity at like 8:00 AM Saturday. This morning, my sister's shaking me and I hear this repeative beeping (it was the security alarm), then I open my eyes, and *que heavenly music* LIGHTS.

And before, it was so damn hot. No air conditioning. It was in the high 80s to low 90s, and the humidity was horrible. Now, it's too damn cold. >_<

I haven't had school since last Wednesday. Not going back till Monday. There's still a TON of places without electricity.

I'm okay. To all you other Floridians, did y'all come out okay? Kayla, John, Joel, and Ron?

Like the curtains? ^_^() That's my house, for y'all who haven't seen it yet.

My pathetic backyard.

A higher view of my "backyard." We live next to a swamp/marsh. That's always fun. -_- My sister's not very fond of the palmetto bugs it has (they're flying roaches.)

You can't really tell, but our neighbor with that huge backyard screening, the screening was all broken and stuff at the top. Sucks, right?

Still kind of my backyard and our neighbor's-to-the-left-of-us backyard. That bitch left her potted plants outside. We're lucky none of them went flying at any of us.

My front yard. Two of our three palm trees fell. That was a creepy sound in the middle of the night of the hurricane's asshole (the eye, but I think it looks like an asshole) sitting on us.

The community's club house is a mess. Most of the trees fell because our neighborhood is pretty damn new, so the trees haven't totally taken root yet.

Another part of my neighborhood.

Look at the traffic light. It's broken. The top light cover thing's gone... Well, I thought it was interesting.

My brother had moo on his calendar. I took the liberty of drawing a cow with it, but then my sister called it a blimp, so I turned it into a balloon. I was BORED.

Boredom strikes, again. All those, my fingers, hot wax. Voi la.

What humidity did to the eyehole thing on my front door. Kinda cool, huh?

The hurricane brought a lot of the animals out. These two were in my neighbor's front yard...

...Then they somehow got to my backyard. -_-

Oh, electricity, how I've missed you!
