Two conversations I had about the election in the last twenty-four hours.

1. The Stupid: ( Do I have to register every time? )

change v more of the same, audacious hopes, obama, don't forget health care, it's the economy stupid, vote as if your life depends on it

Did anyone mention that you put a big X next to the candidate that you DO NOT like. So, you know:

X McCain - Palin
Obama - Biden

If I already voted absentee, I can vote again tomorrow, right?

Also, if I do not live in the town I work in, should I vote in both towns?

Heeeeeeeeeeee. DumbCoworker actually asked a variation on the work/live question ("Can I vote around here instead of near my house?" Uh, no.)

Don't forget to scribble all over the names of the people you don't like and circle the candidate of your choice. use yellow highlighter.

A friend of a friend is on standby to fly to Ohio...to do lawyerly things if needed.

I KNOW! They are awesome. Also, I wanted Obama to be on the Working Families party here, but alas... no. I voted for Kerry on Working Families in NY, but I don't think you can do that in many states (i.e., one candidate, many parties).

A friend of a friend is on standby to fly to Ohio...to do lawyerly things if needed.

Toby thinks Macha is a little edgy on election days, so, just to show there are no hard
feelings, how about if I go down there and vote for the President? First thing tomorrow.

Just one question...
Do you happen to know if I need to be, I don't know, pre-registered or something?

I'm actually surprisingly calm today. Sort of.

I expect to freak the fuck out later when I'm shopping for snack food for my ALL DAY POLLING PLACE ADVENTURE! ;)
