(1) Congress and the American people will continue to support and protect the members of the United States Armed Forces who are serving or who have served bravely and honorably in Iraq;
You know, it is still disturbing to me that before anyone tries to point out any negative aspects about this war, they must first preface their comments by saying, "Ok, I'm gonna say something negative here, but I totally love the military! Honest! We're not criticizing y'all at all!" Stupid White House and their ability to spin all criticisms of their insanity into everyone hating soldiers/hating America/wanting the Terrorists to win. Can't we all agree that, yes, the military is great, but the war sucks?!
I totally would like a picture of Tony Snow's face from a few days ago, someone (Gregory, perhaps?) asked him what he thought of this, and literally his face was like, "What do I care, I'm only a hired gun. It's those whackjobs backstage that are all pissed off their plan is a miserable failure."
I had a horrible flashback to my "Journalism" class at UT taught by Bush acolyte and radical Christianist Marvin Olasky.
Ah, much like my Constitutional Govt class at UT taught by Alan Sager, Travis County GOP head, and best buddy of the Bushes. The best part of his semester-long struggle to get me to switch parties (I told him he had a better shot at getting me to switch genders...he did not appreciate that), was when he used to rail against the liberal-ness of UT professors, and how they were all trying to brainwash us. Uh...dude? I only see one professor with a political bumpersticker on their briefcase...and that is you. Go away. Hilariously, they used to make him share an office with Sarah Weddington, and he was terrified of her, so he never used his office. Oh, UT and their crazy professors. :)
Can't we all agree that, yes, the military is great, but the war sucks??
Please tell me you were listening to the House debates today -- because apparently, no, we can't agree on that at all. Stupid asshat GOP jerks.

Ahhh, the irony -- did he teach Constitutional Government through the bushkaleidoscope wherein the Unitary Executive Branch is all-powerful and because the VP occasionally casts a tie-break in the Senate, he's actually his own supersekrit part-legislative/part-executive fourth branch of the government? Because that interpretation makes SO much sense!
::headdesk::
Incidentally, he sounds like he should be BFF with good old Marvin Olasky.
