1) You wake up and you have somehow have a fairly well kept 12 year old body of the same gender and approximate appearance as yours. You find a letter telling you that you can pick to have knowledge and moderately strong skill in any or all of the ninja arts, but the more things you write down, the less you'll useful you'll be in all of them. What do you write down? (options: Taijutsu, Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Tools (general), Tools (specific: i.e. a sword, axe, etc.), Summoning (animal), and/or Seals)
2) After feeling a rush of knowledge and power, you KNOW you can use what you picked to write down for #4. But you are further told in the letter from #4 that you'll wind up on the same team as any two of the Rookie 9 that you like so long as you write their names on the letter. Who do you write down?
3) Furthermore (geez, how long is this letter?), you can also pick your sensei from the three who normally teach the Rookie 9. Who do you write down?
4) You run into Naruto on the way to the graduation day ceremony. He seems to know you, but not too well. Anything you want to tell him on the rest of the three minute journey? (if it's a future event, he probably won't believe you)
5) The character you respect the most is waiting by the front gate. (if normally an enemy of Konoha, they've defected). Who is it and how do you react?
6) The character you're attracted to the most is waiting inside the front gates. (again, if normally an enemy of Konoha, they've defected) You've lucked out and have something they want. Who are they and what do you think it is that they might really want from someone like you (the answer cannot be sex)?
7) You made a large impression on the person you've got the hots for, but you still need to get to the graduation, when suddenly, Sasuke appears in front of you wanting to fight you and only you. Maybe you pissed him off? Either way, what's your course of action against your new rival?
8) Iruka breaks up the fight before anyone dies. After a boring lecture on the gravity of being a ninja, you get to go out and have some lunch, your favorite food. 8 of the Rookie 9 seem friendly (or at least not hostile) towards you. Who do you try to sit by? What's your lunch?
9) You hear a strong rumor that various special jonin are looking over the various genin, looking for a possible apprentice. Volunteers get a month's worth of training under this special jonin, and more if they prove capable and/or promising enough. Do you go to volunteer yourself or not? And if so, who do you seek out?
10) The one character you despise in the Naruto universe most suddenly appears next to you, steals some of your lunch, and promptly starting choking. Who is it that's choking? Do you save them, pretend to help them while actually finishing the job, or do something else?

Alas, my 'answers'.
1.) Sealing, Tools (Specialized: Infiltration/Breaking In), as advanced medical techniques as possible.
2.) Aburame Shino and Hyuuga Hinata. Shino because he is calm, collected and smart, Hinata, because she is neither Sakura nor Ino.
For a nonstandard 3-male team it would be Shino and Chouji. Chouji is very, very similar to me in nature, and he would be a viciously effective tank.
3.) Yuuhi Kurenai. Kakashi is a pathetic excuse for a teacher and so is Asuma. If only I could have Gai...
4.) I would enter a debate about food with him. There is no way he would believe me or not raise a fuss about the things I'd like to tell him.
5.) He is walking by my side, since I met him at point 4 already. Naruto, idiot or no, possesses an inner strength greater than anyone in his situation should.
6.) Yuuhi Kurenai is my teacher. And she's already involved with someone. Falling back to alternatives, it would be either Ino or Shizune - what I could offer would be someone who is a.) there and who b.) listens. A shoulder to cry on in dire times.
7.) He is the rookie of the year for a reason. I try to defend myself to the best of my abilities without using any jutsu he would remember me possessing. Academy basics only, in order to get him fed up with me. And to get him to brood without thinking of fighting me.
8.) I sit by my team, and, if possible, by Chouji. I appreciate people who can appreciate the fine points of food. I would eat either takoyaki or a dish heavy on meat.
9.) I ask my team whether o rnot they would volounteer. If they do, so shall I. Otherwise, I would not. Ripping apart a team in this crucial stage of teamwork building is counterproductive to the extremes. If I would, though, it would be someone who could school me in the use of what I can only call thief tools. Everything from the fine art of lockpicking to the art of sneaking around.
10.) Hidan is immortal, but I would raise hell to get the attention of any high-powered fighting unit capable of stalling him long enough for the real big guns to appear. As he is a dangerous S-class missing-nin, I would, at best, try to kill him, and, more logically, get the fuck out of there while I still can. If this happens outside of Konoha, I would do my utmost to incapacitate him as long as possible and then take his head and incinerate it/have it eaten by Shino's bugs.
